The Toy Tournament
My Art Director partner, Zach Silverman, had a huge display of toys in the creative department. Unable to let them just gather dust on the shelf, we cooked up a way to have some agency-wide fun and obligatory content creation. Thirty-two of us drafted a toy and matchups were set, March Madness style. We created accompanying social posts and videos with every round. I drafted an old Diet Coke with the name Jeff on it. I did not win. But the agency did--in the time we ran this, our FB and Instagram generated all-time high levels of engagement. This was possible thanks to everyone at the agency at the time, but particularly: AD Zach Silverman, AD Sadie Lesko, CD Mike Schatz, and Editors Danny Cary and Lou Farinella.
